• Promote and protect the integrity of the BODYWORKER profession and to safeguard the interest of individual clients.
• Improve the quality of life of all clients through the BODYWORK profession.
• Respect all clients regardless of their age, gender, race, national origin, sexual orientation, or religious beliefs.
• Eliminate the prejudices in and of the BODYWORK profession.
• Establish a clear and honest communication with all clients and to maintain strict confidentiality of all client information.
• Exercise prudent judgement regarding the potential effects of all techniques applied.
• Refrain from initiating or engaging in any sexual conduct, sexual activities or sexualizing behavior involving a client.
• Respect a client’s right to refuse, modify, or terminate treatment.
• Reserve the right to refuse treatment for just and reasonable cause.
